“I always do, Thawne. Unlike you, I keep my friends close, rather than at arms length and lie to them constantly….” Cisco said, realizing it was a low blow, but not as low as he could’ve gone.

Cisco began laughing as she got midway through the phrase. “Yeah, I didn’t really think that through, nor did we really discuss what we were until much later. We are not dating. We’re seeing where time takes us.” He said, taking a drink of his cider with a grin on his face. “I had to leave for work before breakfast even got there.”

And I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you to be careful, and to be alert. If you do notice any changes…” Cisco wouldn’t tell him. He’d have to find out that information on his own. “Don’t keep them to yourself.”

“Yeah, sure. You’ll be the first to know, Thawne!” Cisco said with heavy sarcasm. Are you leaving yet? He thought to himself as he watched Thawne’s movements.

“Cait, you can’t trust him. Hell, I would recommend you just call me when he approaches you.” Cisco said, his voice getting more firm as he spoke. “I have this feeling about my powers against his. I have yet to test it though. Just be careful, okay?”
