“Oliver will be a hard sell. I can’t lie to you and say he’ll be all that willing but he’s worth a shot at getting better. To learning to control your power.” Sara tipped his chin, making sure he was looking at her square in the eye. “If you go into the field call me. Don’t go alone. You’re never alone when you’re on a team.”

“Yeah, I haven’t exactly told him that I have powers resulting from the particle accelerator. How do you think he’ll react?” Cisco laughed, imagining the possible outcomes. As she tilted his chin and their eyes met, his face softened. “I thought I could do it on my own. I’m sorry. I’ll call someone next time.”

Violet rolled her eyes. “Answer meeee,” she whined.

“Vi. It’s my personal life. I will share when I feel like it, ‘kay?” Cisco laughed, finishing his first cider and motioned for another from the bartender. “I realize you like being involved in my life, but sometimes I just need a little space. I’ll tell you once I’ve sorted things out in my head.”

saralancecanaray:

“Exactly, sit.” Sara rummaged through her kit, an ace bandage and a couple ice packs could take the sting out. A few shots will dull the edge significantly. “So you’re coming into your powers now. Did you talk to anyone about it?”

“Not exactly. I’m trying to convice Oliver to help me train, and Barry’s offered, too, but I don’t want to hurt Barry. I know Oliver can take whatever I throw at him. Literally.” Cisco said, looking at the things Sara took from her kit. “You taught me to throw a punch, but I need so much more than that now.”

“Drink faster then. I’m just going to keep asking. What’s her bra size? Where does she live? Is she employed? What’s her full name. Is she kinky? Were you nervous? Were you drunk? Was Barry there for moral support? Did she give you drugs? Is your penis all smiley now? Does she know that you’re her boyfriend or are you keeping that a secret? Did she poke your belly because you look like the pillsbury dough boy? Did you meet her on FarmersOnly.com? Or BlackPeopleMeet.com? Or Tinder? Did she tie you up upside down? Did you do it in one of those scary sex swings?” She asked her questions extremely fast and poked his shoulder over and over so that he’d get drunk quicker.

Cisco simply raised an eyebrow at his sister, ignoring her questions. “How was your day, sis? Meet anybody new? Terrorize anybody?”

drcait-snow:

When everything was done, she looked up at him and smiled a bit but her smile wasn’t reflecting actually in her eyes, she needed to do something and she was nervous but decided “No worries. Yes, you should do that, I’m sure you are going to be okay”

“Thawne told me you two had an argument, a fight, whatever. Did he hurt you?” Cisco fumed, remembering his encounter with Thawne a few days prior. “Cause I will use my powers on him.”

themaninthelightning:

“Don’t be so… self-righteous. She forced my hand. Try not to repeat her mistake.” It would have been easier to just tell Cisco he hadn’t harmed her,
but he was too hurt and angry to even try. As he stood, he pocketed the USB he’d plugged into the computer, not caring if Cisco saw what he’d been doing. “Believe me or not, I’m really not here to antagonize you.”

You should talk about being self-righteous. I’ll do what I damn well please, because I know I can take you down.” Cisco said, shoving his hands in his pockets so Thawne wouldn’t see his hands shake. “What did you download onto that USB drive? And I highly doubt that.” He scoffed, crossing to Thawne. “Now leave.

Helena raised her eyebrows. “Okay so what do you want?”

“I don’t want to sound like a dick.” Cisco sighed. “But I know that I flirt quite a lot, and I just feel like there is something else out there. If there isn’t, then we can get back together. Hell, maybe we could have a friends with benefits kind of thing. I don’t freaking know.”

Helena shrugged. “I don’t know either. I guess it depends on you.”

“Well, I don’t really think I’m down for anything serious. I mean, I’m surprised we even got this far. I think I drank far too much before dinner and during, so my judgement was sort of clouded.” He paused, realizing how terrible that sounded. “But I don’t regret it. please don’t think I regret it.”
