“With who? Were you armed? Cisco..” she paused with a sigh. “Come on, let’s ice that shinner.”
“Some thug trying to steal a car. He had a crowbar. I was lucky he guy didn’t kill me.” Cisco groaned, holding his side as he crossed to a chair. “We might need some more ice.”
Cisco! What happened?! Come on, let’s get some ice on that.”
“I was patroling?” Cisco said, hoping Barry wouldn’t scold him. “I thought I could use my powers to help, and it blew up in my face. Sidenote: We might need more ice than just for my face.” He groaned, holding his side.
Helena bristled a bit when he said that he was falling for her but tried to play it off. “It’s Helena,” she said softly, watching him closely at how childlike and happy he was. It was endearing. She shook her head to herself and got in the shower, taking her time before wrapping herself in a robe and stepping out again.
Cisco stared at the ceiling as he heard the shower running. How he was going to bring this all up, he didn’t know. As he heard the shower shut off, he had realized he forgot to order breakfast. “Hey Helena? I have to ask you something.” Cisco stated, swinging his legs over the bed and looking towards the bathroom.
Helena looked like she was extremely baffled by the entire situation and just stared at him for a moment. This was an unexpected turn. She chewed on her bottom lip for a moment, before sighing and shaking her head. “No, I’m not picky when it comes to breakfast.” She turned the water back on and sighed again, moving back to the man and kissing him softly. “I suppose I should tell you my name now, huh?” she murmured, starting to feel a slight affection towards the dopey little thing.
“I’ll order a few different things then.” He said with a smile. “You shower, I’ll just chill out here.” Cisco kissed the woman on the cheek and walked back to the bed. He sat on the edge with his feet just barely touching the floor. “I would love to know the name of the woman I’m falling for….” He smiled, swinging his legs onto the bed and staring up at the ceiling. There was an internal struggle going on in Cisco’s head, and he didn’t know what to do.
“Yea, that makes you pretty rare, Cisco. You’ve looked that man in the eye lived to tell the tale more times than a looot of people” he said, more sad than in a joking manner.
“And they say that running really fast can’t save lives.” he said with a light laugh. “He’s a good guy, he’d do it again for ya.” he nodded again. “I suppose I can hope”
“No hoping. I can call him right now if you’d like. He’ll be over here in a flash.” Cisco said, giggling internally after he realized what he’d just said. “Thawne is a terrible, terrible person who only wants revenge. I don’t exactly know what for, but I think he’ll kill to get it.” He said in a somber tone.
