“I honestly have no idea, Cisco. That’s for you to decide. It’s the future you that told me to tell you, so there must be a reason in the long run.” Wally explained.
“So if Barry is going to die, then that means I need to create a weapon for him? Or some other sort of tech?” Cisco muttered, pacing back and forth. He was still so confused with how vague the man was being. “Am I even close?”
“Before the particle accelerator exploded, Dr. Wells was working in conjuction with the university. Is that so surprising? The university has sent me to catalog anything salvageable to recoup costs from the explotion.”
“Um, the particle accelerator isn’t being salvaged for parts, lady.” Cisco snapped. “We are working on builting back up the technology. I’m Cisco Ramon, lead mechanical engineer here at S.T.A.R. Labs, and you are?”
“Good man, Cisco” He said with a grin. “That’s be the one. The Reverse-Flash himself. And you didn’t die? Good on you, man.” He nodded. “Perfect. I may need some help getting him to believe me too.”
“Been there, done that. 0 out of 10 wouldn’t recommend it.” Cisco laughed nervously, remembering the moment Thawne killed him as if it were yesterday.
“Yeah, Thawne killed me, Barry accidentally traveled back in time, so here I am.” Cisco smiled, thankful for his best friend. “Barry will come around one way or another, don’t you worry your little face off.”
Helena sighed and shut off the water in the shower, pulling on her robe for modesty and rubbing her forehead. “yeah, I guess. I didn’t expect you to stay. Did you just wake up?”
“I woke up a little while ago. Was gonna order room service.” Cisco smiled, catching a glimpse of himself in the mirror and realizing how bad his bed head was. He attempted smoothing down the tangled mane as he began talking. “You hop in the shower, I’ll get us some breakfast. Anything you want in particular?” He decided to not ask about the weapons and whatnot just yet.
“Time is complicated.” Cisco sighed. “Okay, so what does all this have to do with me?” He said, cocking his head to the side.
“I don’t know, if I’m right, you’re the only person in the future who remembers what I did.” Wally replied. It’s up to you to figure out how to wipe everyone’s memory. “Future you told me to talk to you, so here I am.”
“Oooookay, so where do we go from here?” Cisco said, utterly confused with the circles their conversation was going in.
“I’d draft some stuff now, honestly, if I were you” He chuckled softly. He nodded again “Yea, so I’m told. First Thawne, now this shit….” He swallowed quickly. “Well, I need to find him, possibly talk to him. I feel like I could help him.”
“I have a few ideas already.” Cisco said with a dorky grin. “Thawne, as in Eobard Thawne? Ugh. I kicked him out of the lab.” He scoffed. “Barry on the other hand, him I can find.”
Helena immediately jumped at the contact and spun around, fluidly knocking him down with her elbow. when she realized what she had done, her eyes immediately bugged out and her mouth opened, “oh my God! Don’t scare me like that!”
Cisco grunted as he hit the floor, his head just barely missing the door frame. “Sorry, should’ve coughed or something. My bad.” He gave the woman a side smile before pulling himself up to his feet. “Did you have a good workout?”
Helena was hoping that the man had caught the message when he woke up with no one next to him and was humming to herself happily as she unlocked the door. Her plan was going perfectly, almost better than she expected. She didn’t even look at the bed with no doubt in her mind that he would have left as she started stripping her layers of sports bras and exercise wear off and walking into the bathroom to turn on the shower.
Cisco smiled as she walked in the door, but the smile quickly dissipated as she completely ignored him lying on the bed in his boxers. He tossed the menu to the side and walked towards the bathroom. Wrapping his arms around her waist, Cisco trailed kisses down the woman’s neck.
“Give it about 15 years and you’ll find out. Barry had the Reverse Flash, I have Zoom.“ Wally explained. “Time- it’s complicated. I already figured out that I was meant to be here. Things are a set point in time and apparently my presence was one of them.”
“Time is complicated.” Cisco sighed. “Okay, so what does all this have to do with me?” He said, cocking his head to the side.
