Helena’s face was incredibly hard to read. In her mind she was cycling through the information that she had learned about Cisco from research and was trying to figure out what his deal was. This was not the man on the paper. Her tactics had to completely change. She quirked and eyebrow and took a sip of her own wine. “If you keep this up I won’t last for the food,” she said in a low murmur.

“What do you mean you won’t last for the food?” Cisco said, raising an eyebrow at the woman. “I could last all night.” This woman was perplexing. He knew close to nothing about her, and that intrigued him. Cisco knew this wasn’t how he normally acted, but he figured since this woman didn’t know him, that a little change in his demeanor wouldn’t hurt.

Pamela smiled, glancing over at Cisco as she played with her hair. “Do you think a girl like me can’t handle herself?” she asked sweetly as she reached over, tugging at Cisco’s hand. “Maybe I’d need you to come along to protect me then.”

Cisco tucked a stray hair behind his ear before dropping his hand back at his side. “That’s totally not what I meant. I swear. You look totally capable.” He stumbled over his words like he always did. When she touched his hand, he felt a strange protectiveness for the woman come over him. “Of course I’ll come along!” He smiled, turning his hand so he could hold hers.

lisa-snart:

Lisa smirked at Cisco. Though she was wearing heels she knew she could easily out run him. “Oh? Is that a fact? I think you’re going to have to catch me first.”

Spinning on her heels she bolted.

He followed her, until he bolted down an alleyway to cut her off. That is exactly what he did. He dodged garbage bins and wood pallets, and made it out to the other side, making it out in just enough time for the woman to run into him. He wrapped his arms around her and brought her to the ground with him. “Told you you couldn’t get away.” He said, out of breath. “Now are you going to pay for those or am I going to have to take further action?”

Helena nodded slowly, still keeping the intensity of their eye contact, wetting her lips. “I was raised with Sicilians.” Her fingers ran a little farther up and with a bit more presence.

Cisco just turned his hand over and ghosted his fingertips on her forearm before grabbing his wine glass with his free hand and taking a long sip. “Interesting….” He trailed, not breaking the gaze.

When it came to reintroducing himself to this timeline’s residents, Eobard was only mildly surprised to discover that his most pressing concern was Cisco. After all, Cisco had been the first casualty of the other timeline, and the one he had to live without for the longest. Eobard also couldn’t shake the correlation in his head, that after Cisco died everything else had gone to hell.

He would have to be careful with his approach, however. He had to negate, as much as possible, that initial perception of him as an enemy. That would be counter-productive. So, he decided to wait in the lab where they used to work together, at a time when he knew he could corner Cisco alone.

And he brought a gift: a small box, lacking in wrapping paper but adorned with a bright red bow. “Hello Cisco,” he said, when his former protege entered.

It was a beautiful day, and Cisco decided to walk to work. With his earbuds in and music blasting, he began the trek to work. Even when Cisco woke up, he had a weird feeling about the day ahead. He just brushed it off like he did most things.

He took the elevator down to the cortex and walked out mumbling the words to one of his favorite songs. He tossed his jacket over one of the desk chairs and took out his earbuds, but continued to hum the song he had just paused. He heard a familiar voice that recently he had only heard in his nightmares. He couldn’t tell if he was dreaming or if this was reality. “What the hell?” He sputtered, taking a step away from the man who had betrayed him and his friends.

Helena didn’t withdraw her hand, still lightly ghosting her fingertips along the back of his hand. “Agghiotta di lumache,” she said in perfect Italian at the waiter, not moving her gaze from the human puppy across from her, looking like she was practically undressing him in her mind.

“You speak Italian?” He remarked as soon as the waiter walked away. “Impressive.” He muttered as they stared at one another.

She lifted one hand from his knuckles and raised a finger to her chin, faking a thinking expression with her lips pouted. “Mid 20s, IT Technician, you don’t have any hobbies outside of work, and people have told you that you act like a puppy.” She smirked and put her hand back on his knuckles with a mischievous smirk. “How’d I do, handsome.”

Cisco was shocked at how close she was. He didn’t let it show on his face, however. “Not too shabby. But a puppy? Come on. I am nothing like a puppy.” He bluffed as he saw the waiter approach. “I’m ready to order if you are.” He put his order in to the waiter and watched the mysterious woman across from him.

lisa-snart:

“Sure I can, I mean, they don’t even have any safeguards against theft. Besides,”

Reaching into her bag, she fished out a box of band aids and threw them at him.

“Does it look like I’m stealing anything fun? It’s not like we Rogues can go to a hospital.”

She looked around quickly to see if she should bolt. All instincts were saying run.

“Stealing is stealing, Lisa. Just because it’s band aids doesn’t make it okay.” Cisco snapped. “Don’t even think about running. You won’t get away.”

always-going-faster:

“Everyone’s worrying her nowadays.”  Barry smiled a bit before shaking his head and moving towards his apartment. “Nah, I’m good anywhere hanging out with you Cisco.”

“Sweet.” Cisco said, following Barry’s lead. “I have the usual in my liquor cabinet, as well as some beer and hard cider in the fridge. We can always put on a movie too. I dunno what you want to do.” He rambled, not knowing what to say, despite having so much he wanted to say.

Helena leaned forward and gave him a seductive smile. “You underestimate my character. And I’d /much/ rather hear your guesses about me. It’s more fun that way. You tell me what you think my occupation is and how old I am and my hobbies. There are no wrong answers.” Her voice was velvety and she walked her fingers over to brush her thumb over the top of his knuckles with a smirk.

As her fingers brushed over his knuckles, it send a shiver down his spine. He barely knew this woman and he was already wrapped around her finger. “Uh, late 20s, Real Estate Agent, and hobbies are motorcycle riding, taking long walks, and probably not baking.” Cisco smiled, wondering if he was even close to right. “Now your turn.”
