Violet sighed. “That’s not healthy, Cisco.”

Cisco set the ice cream down and crawled to the head of the bed, laying his head on a pillow and staring at the ceiling. “You don’t think I already know that, Vi? I can’t relive my death over and over again. I can’t take it.” He said before shoving his face into the pillow.

Violet nodded but with a frown. “Maybe you should go to your doctor and get some medication?”

“That most likely won’t work, no matter how much I want it to. I just have to deal with it. Sure I only sleep for a few hours at a time, I’ll be fine.” He said, looking away. “It’s not like I haven’t dealt with it before.”

runaway-griffin:

“Nope, just rolled into town.  But I like to learn my way around quickly.”  Griffin winked before turning down an alley.  It was a shortcut to one of the main roads, and he walked confidently through the dark space.  “You from here originally?”

Cisco stood under the streetlight just outside of the alleyway. “Uhm, Griffin? I’d much rather stay on the main road. I mean, I do know my way around. I’ve been living here for as long as I can remember.”

runaway-griffin:

“I can show you to the other side of town.  I don’t have a ride dude.”  He smirked before walking back the way Cisco came.  “Griffin.  Nice to meet ya.”

“Gotcha. Well, that was awkward.” He mumbled, shoving his hands in his pockets. It was a particularly chilly night, and he definitely wasn’t dressed for the weather. He smiled before speaking again. “You too. Are you from around here, or are you new to town?”

“Well who knows what would have happened if Kid Flash wasn’t there to help the Flash out? Maybe he does need a sidekick, or maybe he will one day.” Wally pointed out to him. After a shrug, he continued on. “I would like to see the Kid Flash in action, myself.”

“True. The Flash has never taken on such a person as the Joker before, so he was probably just caught off guard. But yeah. Maybe one day.” Cisco smiled at the man, tucking a piece of hair behind his ear. “Maybe one day we’ll see him in person.”

Violet sighed, sitting down on her bed. “Nightmares?”

“Yeah. This is the second one. The first one isn’t as prevalent anymore, but still lingers from time to time. I call them nightmares, but sometimes they happen in the day when someone says a particular thing, it will spark something and it will start.” Cisco sighed and looked to his sister. “There’s no way to actually stop them from happening.”
