“What, never seen a guy sitting on the curb before?”
“Yeah, I have actually. But usually it was a junkie. You don’t look that type. What brings you to this part of town?” Cisco said, joining the man on the curb.
Harrison Wells: What am I allergic to?
Cisco Ramon: Pine nuts, and the full spectrum of human emotion.
Violet met Cisco at the door, grabbing his arm and dragging him up the stairs to her bedroom, yelling at Oliver something about a coconut over her shoulder as they passed him in the living room and pushed him into her room, closing the door quickly and grinning. “See? I told you it’d be fine. Realistically Oliver lets me do whatever I want, he just bitches about it later.”
“I’m sure he’s just fine with me intruding in his home.” Cisco sighed, almost dropping the now semi-melted ice cream. “Like I told you, I’m pretty sure the guy doesn’t like me.”
The party was anything but enjoyable in Cisco’s mind. Arguments, Bombs, and Badguys were all a recipe for disaster. He knew everything ended up just fine, but he still felt uneasy when he crawled into bed that night.
He fell asleep immediately due to the immense amount of alcohol that was in his system. It was more of a crash rather than falling asleep. Within an hour, Cisco’s sound sleep was disrupted by what one would only consider to be a nightmare. He was back at the party, with the collar suffocatingly tight around his neck and people running past him, panicked shrieks coming from different parts of the room. Mardon walked past, helped him remove the collar, and ran off before Cisco could thank him. The bomb in his collar was still active, and his body froze trying to think of a way to get it out of his possession before it detonated. The party venue was just about empty, He saw Violet run out with Oliver and Felicity collar-free not too long ago. He was absolutely positive that Staci was alright as well, as he saw her run out collar-free just before them. Perhaps Caitlin helped with her collar? Who knew. He slid his collar along the ground towards the wall and started to back away from it slowly at first, then broke into a run, determined to get out of there. Before he could even make it halfway across the room, there was an almost inaudible ‘click’ and Cisco fell to the ground, dead.
That’s when he woke up in a cold sweat. He rubbed his eyes hard, as if he could wipe the nightmare from his mind. He flung his legs over the side of his bed and sauntered to the kitchen for a waterbottle. On his way, he pinched his arm.
Ouch. Note to self. Don’t pinch self in the middle of the night.
Cisco had been worrying himself all day about his friends and family. Family meaning Violet. He had been having what he could only describe as daydreams, but they weren’t happy dreams. They were nightmares. Daymares, if you will. He had texted his sister, making sure she was still okay. Things seemed fine, but he wanted to be absolutely sure. He put the fresh container of cookie dough ice cream in a shopping bag and grabbed his keys, heading out to his car and to where Violet was.
Violet: Nah, I’m sticking close to home these next couple of days. I got in trouble when I snuck out last night to make sure Barry was ok. You should come over and hang out with me over here, though.
Cisco: At Oliver’s? What if I can’t get in? The guy basically hates me.
Violet: I’ll let you in, it’s fine. You don’t even have to see him.
Cisco: ‘kay, I’ll be there soon.
Violet: Nah, I’m sticking close to home these next couple of days. I got in trouble when I snuck out last night to make sure Barry was ok. You should come over and hang out with me over here, though.
Cisco: At Oliver’s? What if I can’t get in? The guy basically hates me.
Violet: He’s pretty.
Cisco: Oliver or Roy?
Violet: Both. But mostly Roy
Cisco: hahaha is that so? I just bought some ice cream if you want it, I’ll save it for you.
“Yeah, he’s this kid that has the same powers as me. Made his own suit and everything. He found me and saved my life the other day, but…I don’t know if I can trust him. He seems to know more than he should about some things.” Barry ran a hand through his hair before nodding. “I’m sure your relationship wil work out, it’ll just…wait.” Barry stopped and looked at him seriously. “Snart? She’s been talking with Snart?! Like, as friends?!”
“Hmm. That’s interesting.I’d love to see his suit.” Cisco smiled, imagining what a kid could in terms of making his own suit. “Yeah. She said she has a lot in common with him. I don’t believe it though. Snart frustrates me. You should talk to her about what information she tells people.”
