“Okay, sorry.” He said, removing the collar from his neck. He ran his fingers over the piece of technology, admiring the craftsmanship of it. He looked closer at it and saw the red light was off. He cocked his head to the side, bringing the collar to his ear to hear absolutely nothing. “I think it’s been diffused. Probably the Flash.” He said with a smug grin. “What do you need from me, anyway?”

Well… it wasn’t like he was unhappy he hadn’t blown up, but Mark still pulled a face as he collected the tools back from Cisco making sure to put them back exactly as they had been. Mark kept quiet, still in an obvious debate, as he put things away before looking back up at Cisco and hesitated, before he stood up. “Forget it, consider yourself off the hook, yeah?” He said shoving everything back into the bag. “For now.” With that Mark turned back into the crowd and headed away. He hated parties…

“um, okay? Thanks for your help!” Cisco called after him as Mardon walked away. For now?

Barry turned to face his friend, smiling a little at him.  He was just glad to see him living.  “Yeah, I’m here.  How’s it going Cisco?  Are you okay? Besides the hangover.”  He moved closer to the other, leaving the nearly stitched up suit on it’s mannequin.  “Do you need some water or something?”

“Nah, I think if I drink anymore water I might explode.” He paused and held up a finger. “That was not the best use of that word. But yeah, I’m fine.” Cisco didn’t want to tell Barry the dream he had once he crashed. It was too gruesome for him to even fathom just yet. “I assume you diffused the collars?” He wiggled his in the air, he’d kept it to run tests.

Text: Brother

Cisco: How are you? I don’t really remember all that much from last night, so my apologies if I was a total ass.
Violet: not worried just curious. It’s fine, really. It wasn’t even a bad fight. You just took it really hard.
Cisco: It’s because I’m so used to fighting with my brother and family, and I always drink after a fight. I guess I just regressed. Plus all the crap about the collars. I didn’t sleep all that well last night, so I might leave work early and go home to sleep.

Barry couldn’t sleep that night, so he decided to head to Star Labs early.  He left his apartment at 5am, and proceeded to grab a couple of coffee’s for himself and Cisco.  He didn’t know when the other would actually get there, so he just sat the coffee’s down and waited, distracting himself with either training on the treadmill or cleaning the lab for Cisco and Caitlin.  When Cisco did walk in Barry was pacing around the lab, keeping alert while just thinking about things.

Cisco’s head was pounding after the excessive amount of alcohol he had drank after his argument with Violet. He pulled his hood over his head and slid a pair of sunglasses over his face before walking out to his car.

Walking into the Lab, he kept his sunglasses on to protect his eyes from the harsh florescent lights that threatened to sending a striking pain through his skull. “Barry?”

“Do I look like a guy who needs tech?” He asked raising an eyebrow. Maybe this was still a bad idea though… In general he hated bringing people into his business. Mark thought about that for a while in silence letting Cisco finish taking off his collar. “Great. Now either get that thing away from me, or defuse it right now.” He leaned back in his seat, eyeing the bomb with distaste.
