Violet shrugged, easily scooting over so that she was on his lap and closed her eyes. “I’m okay with this.”

Cisco sat awkwardly as she sat on his lap. “I’m not really sure I am? Why are you on my lap? You could just use my leg as a pillow like a normal human or something.” He laughed, poking her side to see if she was ticklish.

Violet shook her head, quite frustrated. “It was about Oliver. I heard you say that you didn’t know whoever she was asking for except that he was a dick. That has to be Oliver. Why won’t people tell me what the fuck is up with him? Is he a fucking serial killer? I live in his house for fucks’ sake. Why is some lunatic with a gun trying to find him.” She lugged him closer to the sidewalk and asked a passerby to call an ambulance.

“Vi, I don’ want you to concern yourself. I’ll explain at a better time. Promise.” Cisco took his weight off Violet and leaned against a streetlight. His shirt was soaked with blood and his eyelids fluttered, the lull of consciousness slowly creeping away from him. “Promise.” He said, slipping to the ground and closing his eyes, losing consciousness.

“Forget I ever asked,” Cisco said with a laugh, tugging the blanket so it uncovered Violet’s toes. “Oops!” He said with a straight face, raising an eyebrow.

Violet mirrored him, looking quite amused with a raised eyebrow. “What’s that supposed to mean? Is that some sort of ‘I’m going to tickle them’ thing?”

“Nah, more like a ‘I’m going to slowly take the blanket away until you have nothing left’ thing.” Cisco’s grin widened as he swiftly pulled the blanket from her lap and into his, purposely tangling his own legs in it so she couldn’t have it. “Brotherly love, right?” He smirked

“At least it’s not too bad.  Bad nervous is the worst.”  Stephanie smiled as he sat, nodding. “Nice to meet you too Cisco!  I can’t give you any recommendations though, as it’s my first time in here.”

“Hmmm.” Cisco pondered as he looked at the menu. He asked the person behind the bar to surprise him with whatever, that he was feeling adventurous. “So what brings you to Central City, Steph?” He said, smiling over at his newfound friend.

exbatgirl-steph:

“Really?  That’s lucky of you then.  Is it a bad nervous or just slightly nervous?” Steph continued smiling at him, holding her mug in her hands.  “Also, do you want to join me?  The name’s Steph by the way.”

“Kind of a semi-nervous. I don’t really know what about, to be completely honest,” Cisco said with a laugh. “I’d love to! Pleasure to meet you, I’m Cisco.” He took the seat next to her, gazing over at the menu. “What good here? I’d like to try something new.”

Cisco had a major case of insomnia. Well, more like nightmares. These powers of his were becoming more and more prevelant in the things that he’d dream about. By the second night, he just decided to not try and fall asleep, rather he would just fall asleep while reading, watching a movie, or whatever else would lull him into a deep and dreamless sleep.

This was one of those nights. It’s not that he didn’t want to sleep, it’s that he was afraid to. He positioned himself in front of the television with a stack of movies and the whole night ahead of him.

In the midst of Pirates of the Caribbean, his phone buzzed. Sara had texted him, and his whole face lit up. They texted for a while, and eventually he invited her over, despite it being the middle of the night. As the movie finished, he realized she’d probably be here soon. He looked down at what he was wearing and realized he was in the shirt he wore to work and his boxers. He scrambled to jump off the couch and run to grab a pair of pajama pants before she got here.

She nodded, “Precisely. Coffee, videogames, and parkour are the three main components of my life.” she glanced at hima nd then avoided eye contact when he asked the question, “OH uh…” she wasn’t cold at all, but she couldn’t just tell him our right she didn’t want him to notice the sparkles she was shedding, “That sounds great. I would certainly enjoy a walk,” she suggested, hoping that getting air flow over her body would cause the dust to disperse.

“Parkour? That’s too cool. I’ve never met anyone that actually did it?” Cisco gushed to the woman. He glanced out the window and saw the sun shining down through a small gap in the clouds. “Walks are the best on days like this,” he smiled, standing up and held his arm out for the woman. “Shall we?”
