Cisco: Pirates of the Caribbean. 🙂
Sara: Which one?
Cisco: The first one right now, I’m a half hour from the end.
Cisco: You’re welcome to join me if you want to come all the way across town this late.
Barry smiled at the other, shrugging and putting his hands in his pockets. “I’m alright Cisco. I made sure I was bandaged up. And the fast healing helped it not be all that bad. So I wasn’t stupid or anything. I just know how important it is to you.”
“Well, I’m glad you’re alright, dude.” Cisco said with a smile before walking to his desk to find the materials to fix the suit. “I should have the suit fixed soon. Maybe before tomorrow? I should really make a spare, shouldn’t I?”
Cisco shrugged, laughing. “It’s my job as your older brother to make things weird and as uncomfortable as possible.”
Violet laughed. “See, if you want to make things weird and uncomfortable you better be okay with taking in what you’re serving. I can tell you all about how my body longs for his manly essence to fill all of my senses.”
“Okay, maybe not?” He laughed, sipping his soda before convering his face with the blanket. “Please don’t go into detail.”
“Well, she had decency enough to not shoot me. So I figured maybe we had some sort of repor going, you know?” She staggered under the weight but looked determined. “Okay, are you ready to take a step?”
“She shot at you, Vi. That’s just as bad in my book,” he groaned. “Yeah. Let’s just get to the street, please. Then at least I can bleed out where multiple people can call for help.” Cisco said as he began to put one foot infront of the other.
Kendall laughed, a warm and genuine sound that surprised her. She hadn’t laughed like that in a while. “Well, I say you personality matches your outfit well. I like them both,” she added, before making a power fist towards the sky, “Yes! Aw man, I am such a Lord of the Rings geek, my friend showed it to me a couple years ago, and damn did I fall down that rabbit hole hard and fast. I wish I could say that I’m a fan of more pop culture, but from past experience I’ve found its best if I don’t go there. Or else I’d never see the light of day again,” she explained, then rolled over on the chair so that she could shake his hand, “Kendall. Nice to meet you.”
Cisco smiled at her laugh. “You as well! I really like your laugh by the way, it’s cute.” Cisco straightened out a few wrinkles in his pants as she talked, nodding his head every now and again to show he was listening. “I fell down the rabbit hole of pop culture in college, and I just haven’t had the want to climb out. There’s just too much great stuff out there. I may not see the light of day often, but when I do, its for at least an hour and a half to three hours.” Cisco joked. “So much time working and attempting to get some shut eye, my free time is spent either with the few friends I have or watching movies in my apartment. I’m a self-dubbed semi-hermit.” He laughed, realizing how weird that sounded.
Cisco: I can rarely sleep these days. I’m just making some food before I go back and finish my 3rd movie of the night.
Sara: glad I’m not the only one. Which movie?
Cisco: Pirates of the Caribbean. 🙂
Sara: nothing too crazy. I can’t sleep. What about you? Did I wake you?
Cisco: I can rarely sleep these days. I’m just making some food before I go back and finish my 3rd movie of the night.
