“Just this headache coming back, it’s nothing. I just should, um- stay away from people.”

It’s obviously something. You made a bomb and now you’re crying out in pain. You need to figure out your shit.

Though I could probably make one if I had the inkling, I wouldn’t. This wasn’t a bomb. It was something else completely. The team at STAR labs is figuring it out now. I have my shit figured out, Oliver. But yeah, I’m fine, thanks for asking.”

“It’s another headache. I just have to get to the lab. Vi, can you drive me? I, um- probably shouldn’t drive.”

Violet looked uncomfortable. “Can I? Yes. Will it be legal or safe? No. Never had anyone to teach me to drive nor would having a car or a driver’s license be good in my line of work…. Um…” She rubbed her forehead. “Should I call Barry so he can carry you? That’s the only thing I can think….”

“Uh, yeah. Sure, call Barry. That’s a good idea. He’ll know what to do.” As Cisco said this, he sat on the couch and wrapped himself in a blanket burrito to block out all the light. “You never learned to drive? I’ll have to teach you sometime….” He said before falling silent.

always-going-faster:

“Nice to know.”  Barry laughed a bit before focusing on Cisco again.  “I’m glad it’s better.  Have you run any tests yet?  Because both you and Caitlin need to.”  He raised an eyebrow before laughing at the question.  Of course he hadn’t slept, but he wasn’t going to say that.  “I bet your powers will be super awesome once they get figured out.”

“No tests as of yet. I’m honestly avoiding it until there is another, uh- flare up.” Cisco had no words for whatever was happening to him. Cisco felt like this headache of his was behind a wall that was about to break. Although it was at bay now, it felt like it was coming back quickly. Despite this, Cisco kept a smile on his face like he often did and finished his coffee, putting the mug in the sink before sitting beside his friend. “I’m hoping they are. Hopefully I can kick some ass with these powers.”

Sara bowed her head at his comment, that wasn’t something she’d heard often. Only from Felicity who tried to build up her up. “You even made the bed for me. What a considerate man,” she shot back. Cisco was going all out for her and she didn’t quite know how to react. This was far out of her comfort zone. “That’s good logic. I don’t really like sleeping in a kept bed either,” i didn’t like sleeping in a bed at all. That’s too domestic. “Thank you. Always the gentleman, aren’t you? It’s your choice.”

“Yeah, well. What can I say?” Cisco grinned, walking back to the kitchen to dish out the pasta. “Well, we could sit and have a very serious dinner at the table, or we could sit in the living room and have a fun dinner and watch a movie of your choice. I personally think we should watch a movie.” He set the plates down and walked to the living room, opening the cupboards on either side of the television to reveal a plethora of movies. “Any movie, go ahead and pick. I’ve seen all of them, so it doesn’t matter to me. I prooomise I won’t spoil the ending.” He took a sip from his wine before meandering his way back to the kitchen to grab their plates.

“Taking advantage of an injured man. For shame.” Jason chuckled, tensing a little at the clap on his back. Friendly physical contact wasn’t exactly his style. “Either you know the safest bar or the funnest hospital in the world.”

image

“No shame here. And No bar is ever ‘safe’, and no hospital is fun, no matter how many medications a person might be on.” Cisco trailed off as they exited the alleyway. “Bars always have first aid kits. Bar fights, ya know? So how’d you end up like this, anyway?” Cisco was truly curious as to how this man found trouble at this time of the day. Most thugs weren’t out until much, much later in the night.

“Why do you have very important piece of technology that I shouldn’t touch out here? Anyone can easily mess with it.”

image

“Well, usually people don’t touch my stuff, but here you are. You didn’t answer my question. How did you get down here? You’re in STAR labs, dude. You have to have a keycard to get down here.” Cisco said, taking the piece of tech from the boy’s hands and staring him down.
