Barry sighed, rubbing his face. “Sorry, I wasn’t thinking.  Should’nt have said that.”  He really did regret going back in time on that day.  Of all the days Cisco had to re-live, it would of course be the day he died.  “Yeah, she’ll be okay.  I think she had some stitches, but she’ll be healed up soon enough.  And at the moment no, I don’t think so.”  

“Its fine. Don’t worry about it. It wasn’t your fault.”  Cisco tried prying open one of his eyes to look at Barry, bracing himself for a bright light, but the lights were fairly low, and for that he reminded himself to thank Barry for later. “That’s good. I’m glad she’s okay. Hey, you never answered my question. Is is chill if I crash on your couch?”

Cisco: I have been looking for a roommate. It does get pretty lonely around here. But you should let Oliver protect you. He’s just that kind of guy. He likes to protect people.
Cisco: See, I don’t usually have nightmares, its just this thing rn, hopefully they’ll stop soon. But hey, I’ll be there for you whenever you need me. That’s what big brothers are for, right? 🙂
Violet: I don’t have anything I need protecting from anymore, though. And with your. Thingy. That happens. You need someone that loves you no matter what. Not that I’m super good at the idea of love. But i’ve watched enough romcoms to know what unconditional love /is/.
Cisco: I’m saying for the moments when you /do/ need protection. Cause I’m crap at it. My ‘thingy’ is currently getting figured out, so you won’t have to worry about constantly worrying about getting hurt. I’ll have control. You should experience love before just copying what people in rom-coms do, Vi. Granted, I don’t have the best luck with love, so maybe i shouldn’t be talking

Violet: I don’t care how he got em. It’s not the journey it’s the destination, you know? Either way he said he’ll carry me around. it’ll be like a roller coaster. i’m so stoked. AND i bet i’ll feel his muscles ripple. So excited. Oliver won’t let me leave the house until I’m all fixed up and not nauseous though. I snuck out to talk to Barry last night OOPS.
Violet: It’s really weird being wanted. Which sounds pathetic. but like. I always break into places to sleep. Or obviously use some lonely horny boy that can’t get any any other way. I’m always looking over my shoulder to make sure that no one is going to find me out. But like. Here. Felicity checks on me during the night. And rubs my back when i have nightmares.
Violet: And It makes me feel like I’m 10. But it also feels nice af so. I guess I’m 10 for the moment.
Cisco: It is one of the coolest things to have Barry sweep you up and carry you somewhere at super speed, although very nauseating, not gonna lie. YOu’re living with Oliver? Thats awesome! Glad he’s finally warmed up to /somebody/. I wish I had someone to be there for me when I have nightmares. but nope. bingewatching Star Wars wards them away until I fall back asleep. Let me tell you, living alone sucks. Enjoy feeling like 10, cause I’m sure Oliver and Felicity will coddle you. 😉

When he flashed the phone again, she gave it a quick read and nodded at him. When he handed her the number she smiled and held up a finger at him for him to give her just a minute. She quickly pulled her phone out and inserted the number into a text message. She typed out a quick message a simple, It’s Staci, see you tomorrow at Jitters! She smiled at him and then shouldered her bag higher up and gave a small wave. 

She was really hoping she didn’t make a mistake.

Cisco waved after she did, and felt his phone vibrate in his hands. He saw the message and grinned, looking up and waving once more before he went back over to his seat and texted back: “Hello beautiful! Can’t wait!” He put the time and place in the calendar on his phone so he would remember. He was very forgetful.
