Jade sheathed beneath the shadows letting the setting rays off the horizon dance along her feet. The cold iron of the pistol tickled her palm as she’d lined it just beneath the eyes of her victim. “Tell me what I need to know and I promise it’ll be a quick end.”

Cisco squeezed his eyes shut at the woman before him, afraid of what might happen. “Tell you what? I don’t even know who you are!” He was cowered in a corner, trying to protect himself from the woman.

“I don’t understand what is happening.” Cisco knew he had probably hurt some people, but he didn’t know who and he didn’t know how badly. He walked the dark streets of Central City, walking through alleyways as a shortcut to his apartment.

Barry: Which bar? I’ll be right there.
Barry: You won’t. Just breathe.
Cisco: The one we went to that one time and Snart’s disguised sister hit on me and I fell for it. But I’m nowhere near that now. I sort of went wandering and ended up at my apartment. I’m laying in my dark bedroom. the headache has yet to cease.
Cisco: I left Violet at the bar. I just ran out. I don’t even know if she’s okay. What if I hurt her, Barry? She’s going to think I hurt her and then abandoned her. She’s going to hate me.

Sara moved through her apartment, dragging the tore leather jacket behind her like a tail. She was successful in getting their names but unsuccessful in sparing their lives. Another two added to the many she’d maimed and murdered. Her heart sank at the idea of just how little left she had of her old self and what greater part of her took pride in it. Running the water, Sara stood beneath it hoping it could wash away her sins but to avail. The wisps of steam swirled around her but still she felt the sticky ooze of blood on her fingertips.

The streets were quiet were Cisco lived, it was a peaceful piece of Central City. Far more peaceful than the crime ridden neighborhoods she’d dwelled in. Every door painted a crisp white, the apartment number written across her hands. It reminding her of the time she’d spent on a mission, blending in to get intel before executing an entire family. Those were the memories that haunted her. The ones that followed her everywhere she went. Pulling together a smile, she ran the bell and rocked on the balls of her feet. This was supposed to be fun, it will be fun. She promised to be positive especially for him.

He leaned against the counter, debating whether or not to light some candles, but he decided that was way too cliche. He drained the pasta and added the sauce and chicken, putting it in the oven to stay warm until Sara arrived. His head was pounding, so he took some motrin and went about his business, turning on some music to calm his nerves. “Why am I nervous? I’ve made food for Sara before, its not like this is any different…” He muttered to himself as he laid on the living room floor, awaiting Sara’s arrival.

Cisco: I know. I might just head home in a few. Apologize to violet and whatnot, and let you know. maybe it was just a freak accident. maybe it wasn’t me?
Barry: I’m going to have Caitlin run tests. Let us help you for once. 🙂
Cisco: Um, I’m outside. I ran out of the bar, and I’m walking toward the lab. I couldn’t stay in there, whether it was me that was causing it or not.
Cisco: I don’t want to hurt anyone, Barry.

Violet immediately jumped off of the barstool and took cover on the floor. Her instincts leading her to believe that she was under attack. It didn’t sound like gunshots but whatever it was she needed to cover her head and make herself as small as possible. Suddenly, memories came rushing back to her. She was back in that place, cowering behind a trashcan hoping that they wouldn’t look further than the dead body on the ground. Her breathing was shallow and quick, her pulse rushing to her temples. She was defenseless again; frozen with fear. A feeling she had sworn to never experience again.

Cisco shoved his face into his elbow to protect his eyes, and wherever his hand pointed, things went haywire. Pictures fell off the wall, glasses shattered throughout the small bar. He stared at his hands in disbelief, and ran out of there with no thought other than to get away so he didn’t hurt anyone. He ran out of the bar faster than he had ever run before. As soon as he had left, the activity ceased within the building.

Violet looked concerned. “No, that’s not what I meant either. I meant that anyone who has ever met me thinks I’m not sweet. Hey um. Are you alright? I think you need a doctor.”

“Maybe because you didn’t let your guard down like you did when we first met.” Cisco said groaning. The headache was getting worse and worse, despite the bar being quiet for this time of the evening. “Arrgh- I’ll be alright…I think,” he said, flagging down the bartender for a glass of water. His hand was shaking as he raised it, and he couldn’t stop it. Not soon after the water arrived, he reached for the glass, but instead of grabbing the glass, it shattered along with all the bottles behind the bar.
