Cisco: Tbh, I’m freaking out internally.
Violet: oh, well. Your best friend that is super cute said that you’re fantastic. So.
Cisco: Oh, you got a thing for pretty-boy? hehehe
Cisco: Okie. You’ll be surprised for sure! 😉
Sara: We’ll see. Now don’t hurt yourself or burn anything. I have a few things to tie up.
Cisco: Dude. I’m basically a chef. I don’t burn things. well, except for that one time…. I’ll save that story for later.
Cisco: Wait, so tonight then? or…
Cisco: i just never got a straight answer.
Violet: um… Yeah. I guess.
Cisco: We don’t have to, it was merely an idea.
Violet: no I mean… Yeah.
Cisco: So what is it? I’m leaving early from work if you’d like to join me for a drink.
Violet: yeah. I’d love to. Thanks for being so cool about this.
Cisco: Tbh, I’m freaking out internally.
Violet: um… Yeah. I guess.
Cisco: We don’t have to, it was merely an idea.
Violet: no I mean… Yeah.
Cisco: So what is it? I’m leaving early from work if you’d like to join me for a drink.
“Yeah but that is thing of the past, you shouldn’t think about that. The important thing is that he’s not here anymore and he can’t hurt us” Says looking at him and then felt his touch, she didn’t know what to say “Thank you and maybe but you know? Barry saw this in the future when he was running, he saw a lot of things and one of those things was me, with some powers and not that good, I believe that I can create my own future, no matter what but I’m a bit worried”
“I can’t stop from remembering, Cait. That’s the thing. It comes and goes whenever it wants. I relive my own death between 3 and 5 times everyday, sometimes in the middle of the night, and then I don’t sleep. I’m used to running on 3 hours of sleep now.” Cisco sighed and brushed the memory from his mind. “You control your own destiny. That’s a great way to think of it. You’re a great person, and these powers won’t change you.”
“I mean, I hope not. She left in a hurry. I stayed at the lab. I gave her a few bucks for a ride, and went on my way down to the lab. Have you seen her around town? I think her name was Violet?”
At the name he paused, rubbing the back of his neck. “I met her the other day. Had quite the conversation. I don’t think she’ dangerous or anything..”
“You think so? Her and I had quite an…um, interesting conversation? She booped my nose, so that was weird.“ Cisco smiled, recalling the memory. “Yeah, she’s pretty cool. I didn’t give her my number or contact info, so I really hope I run into her again sometime.”
Violet: well he is dad. You should call him dad too just to creep him out. It’s simple. Just throw in a “thanks dad” or a “hey dad” to your convo and it really completes the effect. As I said, I really have no history or understanding of what actual parental figures are like so just know that “dad” is Oliver and “our father” is our father.
Violet: also I dropped out of HS sophomore year so I think I win as far as the overachieving part.
Cisco: Oh I will, just to get a reaction out of him. You win? Is this all a competition?
Cisco: Hey, did you want to actually sit down and have a proper conversation now that we know who each other is?
“It doesn’t work like that with me. I don’t actually know what my “power” is.” Cisco explained, frustrated more than anything else. His eyes widened at the now frozen cup of coffee. “Woah. That was awesome. Do you have control of it yet? We can work on that.”
“And what told you Eobard about that? I mean, he must told you something, right?” Sighed when he said that “Barry said that same thing that it was cool, I don’t think is cool, I think that one day I’ll lose like full control and I don’t want that to happen so answering to your question, no. I don’t have full control, I just can do that because is something small but I know there is more than just froze things. Work on my control?”
Cisco zoned out, looking at the floor with a glazed expression as he continued talking, remembering the moment he was killed in an alternate timeline.
“I know because I’m still me. Nothing special has happened besides remembering when Eobard killed me in those very scary lucid dreams.” Cisco shook his head, as if he was shaking the memory out of his head.
“Yeah. That wasn’t fun. But hey, Cait,” he said, putting a reassuring hand on her arm. “You’ll figure this out, you always do with the tough things. I’ll help you if you’d like.”
