Trying new things | Sara & Cisco

saralancecanaray:

Dirt and a lot of foliage is nothing until you make it something, Cisco. You’re literally in the belly of a technological wonderland. That’s hardly nothing.” She said with a shrug. They needed to play to their strengths after all. “We can use those both, don’t worry.” Sara tapped his chest before skipping into the next room, her hands smoothing over the old punching bag. “Why do you want to learn to defend yourself?”

Cisco gave a chuckle at the thought of him trying to use the treadmill. “Technological wonderland? I like it.” He said, nodding. “Well, if I can learn to defend myself a little better, I can at least try and be of some help. Granted, I’m down here most of the time behind the computer or in my lab, but–” He paused, looking around the room and remembering Dr. Wells as he would sit behind the glass on the far side of the room with him and Caitlin and coach Barry. It was almost as if he could see them sitting there, but there was nothing there.

drcait-snow:

“Yeah, I guess me too, then. Cheers for that” Says drinking from the  glass that she ordered “You mean with Wells and everything else?” Muttered, she still couldn’t believe it, she didn’t want to but she saw it so…she couldn’t deny that “Yeah, I know how that feels but hey, tomorrow could be not that bad, I need to try and think that, stop being depressing, that’s awful”

“Yeah, with Wells and everything else. I still have a hard time wrapping my head around it all, you know?“ Cisco sighed and finished off his drink and motioned for another from the bartender. “I hope that the next day won’t be as bad, and usually it’s not. It’s just….lonely.” He nodded as a thanks to the bartender and took another drink. “I’m not trying to be depressing, Caitlin, honestly. It’s just my whole screw up with the weaponry and whatnot. It’s just really eating away at me.”

drcait-snow:

“Yeah, I think about the same and I guess I’m here because I need fresh air and maybe drink but not to get drunk, last time it was very awful. Besides, I think tomorrow is going to be a really long day”

I think I’d rather drink to get drunk at this point. There’s not really any work to go into, after all.” Cisco sighed and took a long drink of his beer. “Could tomorrow be any longer than the past few days have felt? Ever since what -um- happened, the days just seem to drag on and on.” He said, looking over at his friend and colleague.

Trying new things | Sara & Cisco

saralancecanaray:

Well than…” she chuckled softly to herself, “we can do that. It’s about placement and your feet. If you punch with an off set stance, you’ll topple over.” Sara ran her fingers through her hair, following behind with a slight rosy cheeked blush. “Basics can be a little intense if you don’t stretch so we’ll be stretching for quite some time before you throw a punch or block one. I was on an island for a few years, I bet it’s fine.” She mused back, bouncing on her toes.

You’d be surprised as to how little we have.” He said, opening the door for Sara. “We have a sand bag thingy and Barry’s super-treadmill. It’s all we’ve ever really needed.” Cisco shrugged, thinking about what it must have been like on the island. He tucked his hair behind his ear and straightened his shirt as he turned and saw Sara bouncing on her feet and grinned at her, motioning to the room. “After you, I insist.”
