Trying new things | Sara & Cisco

Didn’t think you were a Lady Gaga fan. I mean I know she was kinda wacko but to each their own.” Her grip wasn’t too tight but it wasn’t loose enough for him to break free. “Make me let go, Cisco. If I were a man and trying to kill you asking to let go and then complimenting me wouldn’t help you. Now think, you’re smart. What are a person’s most sensitive places? Be swift because you’ll start to lose oxygen to your brain is you don’t do something now.”

“C’mon, Sara. This isn’t what I had in mind when you said you’d come and help me.” Cisco coughed, still trying to pry Sara’s arm from around his neck. Thoughts raced through his mind as to how to get out of this predicament, but all of them involved looking like a fool or hitting Sara. He was not about to hit a woman, let alone one that he had some feelings for. His vision was starting to get hazy, so he thought he’d better do something soon. “I’m not going to-” He coughed; “Hit you, Sara.”

Long enough to wonder what you’re listening too. From the way you were shaking your hips, I’d say something off the top 40s.” She smiled pushing from her perch on the wall. “That’s the first thing you’ll need to learn, no one will ever announce themselves. They’ll take the first shot at the first time they see an opening,” Sara recoiled like a cobra, each fine tuned muscles ready as she pounced, putting him into a headlock.

“It was Poker Face. Quite the catchy tune actually.” He turned around once more, putting his iPod on the desk and humming the little tune. He continued listening as he put it away, but his humming was cut short when he felt a strong arm reach around his neck. “What the- Sara, let go! Wow. You’re really strong.” He said, trying to pry her arm away. He leaned forward, trying to loosen her grip a little.

Cisco had been sitting around the lab almost all day, with nothing to do and at a complete loss for what to do with his time. He was anxiously awaiting Sara’s arrival, and he knew she was going to be hard on him with this new workout training thing he was going to try. He’s had very little experience, besides wrestling with his brother when they were kids. As he received Sara’s last text, he pulled out his iPod and popped his headphones in, turning on his favorite playlist and started dancing around the Cortex to Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’.

Sara took her time making her way down to the Cortex, her body still reeling from her last attack. Shaking it off to the depths of her mind, she descending into the mouth of the dragon so to speak. She’d never feel comfortable encased in the concrete blocks so many feet below ground. Appearing in the agape space, she did he best not to laugh at the boy who seemed to dance around the room; as if no one was watching.

Cisco turned around to see Sara standing in the doorway, and he immediately ripped the headphones from his ears. “How long have you been standing there?” He laughed, looking down to pause the song. “You could’ve warned me or something.”  The smile lingered on his face, glad that Sara was finally here.
