Iris let out a small groan when Cisco reminded her of why she was so desperately in need of caffeine in the first place. “Honestly, he’s just really pushing for everyone to focus on the black hole that happened, you know”, she started to explain herself, but greatly backpedaled for a moment. “And it’s been so quiet on the other fore front that there isn’t much for anyone else to pull forward.” But there’s a slight pause from her afterwards, she taking a sip of the coffee that he had given her and let out a soft sigh of relief. “But seriously, the real question is are you jailbreaking your phone just to do it or is there some sort of other purpose for you tinkering?”

Cisco’s face dropped at he mention of the black hole, remembering the events of that day. “Well, I can see why he’s pushing to get coverage. It’s kind of a big deal. People want to know what’s going on.” He said, sipping his coffee gingerly. What Dr. Wells told him was still racing through his mind. He couldn’t seem to shake the feeling that he might have been right. “My phone is already jailbroken. I’m just putting some extra – additions onto it.” Cisco grinned at his own cleverness.

"Uh", the brunette started out for a moment, confusion etched on her face at the other’s appearance before shaking her head to brush the thought away. “Right, just coffee. Black. Maybe you can help me figure out a way to get my boss off of my tail whenever you’re done with…”, she started to speak, trailing off before tilting her head at the little machine. “What is that?”

Cisco turned on his heels and went to the counter and ordered two coffees for them. He turned back and places one in front of Iris and sat across from her. “Oh this? Just a little tweaking on my cellphone.” He said sheepishly, slipping the tools into his messenger bag. “So what’s this with your boss?”

"Mmm, thank god you’re here", the brunette managed to let out while she walked up towards the table, jacket falling out of her hand and onto the back of the chair like she had claimed it for her own. “CCTV has gotten me working on overdrive to cover the story of the blackhole that happened and my body has been telling me that I’m on a caffeine deficiency. Coffee in my belly is needed most definitely.”

Iris! Hey you.” Cisco looked up with a pair of clear glasses on as she walked in the door. He was working on a new piece of tech, and of course he was protecting his eyes. “I can put a pot of coffee on in just…a..second.” He said, separating the last three words as he finished a part on the small machine and took off his glasses. “Anything you want in particular?”

Sara nodded wondering what it felt like to have something worth staying for like friends or a job. Even before the Queen’s Gambit went down she didn’t have direction in her life. There wasn’t a singular thing she was good at. “Sounds like a beautiful life,” she muttered jumping up onto the counter watching him buzz around. “Can I trust your skills?”

It’s alright. My life I mean. Very uneventful, though.” He sighed, putting a pot filled with water on the stovetop and sprinkling some salt into the water. Although he didn’t know Sara all that well, he felt bad for her, the way she said things made it seem like she’d been through hell and back. “Skills? Oh, I’ve got nothing but skills.”  He grinned, taking the box of pasta and tossing it behind his back, and trying to catch it with his other hand, but missing. Pasta few everywhere, and a blush took over his face. “Oops.”
