“What you’re doing is good for the world, you know? I mean look at all the good you’ve done in Central City.” Sara noticed trying her best not to fidget. Being in such closed quarters made her ansty. It made her skin crawl but she was safe here. If only from the physical things. Her mind was a wasteland of fear and all her personal grief. “I’m sorry but you’re not defined by that, Cisco.”

The only thing Cisco could think about was all the bad that has happened to Central City since the particle accelerator exploded. He tried not to let it show on his face as he pulled into the parking lot. Cisco noticed Sara was a little fidgety in the car, but decided not to mention it. “We’re heeeerreeee!”  Cisco said in a sing-song voice.

“Sounds like a date,” Felicity said with a grin turning back to what she was working on before quickly spinning back.

“Not like a date date, but like a Felicity/Cisco date. Which is much different then a Oliver/Felicity date. Which ends up with both of us naked. Not you and me but me and Oliver and you did not need to know that.”

Oh yeah, for sure. No need for any nakedness. Please.”   Cisco felt his face get warm, the blush reaching all the way up to his ears. “Like a friend date, fully clothed.”

“I’m sure you’ll never know if you don’t try,” Felicity said with a grin, “And know you are always welcome at my house, any time you want to hang out.”

Well I’ll definitely have to take you up on that offer sometime when we’re both free, now won’t I?” Cisco said, winking. “Heck, I’ll even bring some wine or a six pack and some pizza.”

Sarah nodded a silent thank you to the boy knowing that she’d never encountered a man as polite as he. “You’re a good guy, Cisco.” She drummed her fingers on her knee as they started away from the curb. “How long have you worked at Star labs?” Sure she wasn’t as great as small talk as she was at sex but she had to try.

Cisco felt his face get warm, and he was hoping Sara wouldn’t notice the blush in his cheeks as they drove. “At Star labs? Oh, quite a few years now. I’ve lost track. I came after Caitlin, but before the particle accelerator,”  he said as he continued driving. “We almost lost everything when it exploded. Our jobs, our livelihoods, our lives…” Cisco trailed off, focusing on the road in front of him.

“I haven’t had a big belly burger in god knows how long. I mean if you don’t mind the drive?” Sara pulled him towards the doors wanting nothing more than to get out of this place. Maybe if she ran fast enough, she could outrun who she is.

I don’t mind at all.”  Cisco said, opening the passenger door for her. “Big Belly burger it is!” Cisco still couldn’t believe he was taking such an amazingly beautiful girl out to dinner. Sure, they were going to big belly burger, but hey, it was was better than nothing. The only girl he ever truly liked was stolen away by his big brother, and this time, he was going to pull out all the stops for her.

Sara pulled the boy in close, knowing that this was fairly new for him. She couldn’t help but enjoy his company, there was no warring look on his face. He didn’t know about her past or even her present. He just knew her name and what she could do. The white canary lives but right now she was just Sara Lance. “Thank you, Cisco…” the words sounded foreign but so sweet on her lips. “Dinner? That was very smooth, Cisco..very smooth. I’d love to go to dinner.”

The smile widened on his face when she called him smooth, if that was even possible. Most girls friend-zoned him within seconds, but this was completely different, and he was surprisingly calm for the crazyness that was running through his mind. “Anywhere in particular you’d like to go? Got any cravings?” Cisco said, looking over at Sara. The wind was blowing, and he couldn’t take his eyes from the way she looked.
