“We’ll start tomorrow, how about that?” She cocked her head to the side with a sly smile. He was soft and she knew that he wouldn’t last the morning but it would be fine to just be normal for a moment. Not some half risen person unable to chart when and where he life began and ended, how sad. “I’m ready,” she extended her arm to him. “Shall we?”

Uh, yeah, sure!” Cisco said, trying to be enthusiastic to this idea, knowing that he would regret it later. But hey, he’s going to be trained by Sara Lance, that’s better than Dig or Oliver. They would actually eat him alive. Cisco bent his arm beside hers, waiting for her to take it. “We shall!” Cisco was smiling like a total dork, and he couldn’t wipe the smile from his face. He had a beautiful woman by his side that actually wanted to spend time with him and get to know him. “So to Jitters then? Or do you want to get dinner maybe?”

“If you’re up to the challenge, Cisco. I have to make up for the whole arrow pointed at your head thing.” Sara grabbed one of the towels from the back of one of the chairs. Her eyes still caught in his little puppy dog ones, unable to break the stare. With a light and air giggle, she ran her fingers through her hair and adorned the new white leather jacket. She sent a farewell to the canary and assumed a new identity. “..do you want to go? I mean we can both get out of this place for a while can’t we?”

Cisco didn’t think his body would be able to handle it, as he had never really been the type to be motivated to work out. His high metabolism always worked in his favor with all the junk he ate. “Uh, yeah! I’d love to. I’d really like to get out of here, actually.”  Cisco said, looking around the room. “It gets kind of….kind of old, being in the same room so often. Well, you ready?”

Sara couldn’t help but smile at the man before her, he was just so delightful. She never was on keen on anything being delightful, maybe the Sara who entered that yacht believed in that. “I think you can do what we do with some time and practice. Do you know a good place to get coffee?”

Maybe you can give me some pointers some time.”  Cisco said,
smiling back at Sara. The twinkle that he saw in her eyes kept that
smile on his face as he continued to stare into her eyes. He realized he
was staring, so he quickly glanced away and coughed, trying to play it
off cool. “Uh, Jitters is pretty good. It’s really the only place
I’ve ever gotten coffee in Central City, so. Otherwise, I could always
make you a cup if you prefer that. I mean, its whatever.”
He babbled, stopping himself before he said anything stupid.

“You should invite him over to hang out. Sara and I would’ve never gotten to the point we are now if I had left it up to her. Some people, they have to be invited, they want to know they’re wanted. Maybe he feels the same way, that you’re only his friend because you work at the lab. I’m quickly learning you can’t assume what people are thinking. It only ever turns out bad for you.” Felicity said squeezing Cisco’s hand.

You really think that will work?“Cisco said, raising his face to
look up at Felicity. His hand felt warm after she squeezed his hand,
and he felt his face get a little rosier.

True. Very, very true.” Cisco said, nodding his head. “Whenever the tech goes wonky, that’s when Barry always runs to me. Literally, runs to me.” Cisco paused, walking over and sitting in a chair. “Does Dig or Sara ever come to you if they don’t need help? Like to talk or hang out?”

image

“We’re much like a family. I watch Sarah for Dig and his wife whenever they need a break. Sara and I can be found together pretty often when we’ve had enough maleness. But they’re not really the hanging out type. We work a lot and when we’re not working our night jobs we’re working our day ones. But yeah, we talk and hang out, why? Don’t you and Caitlin and Barry?”

image

Cait and I are almost always together, besides when we go home for the night. With Barry, I feel like we’re friends by default. I help him when he’s hunting the metas, and in return, he is my friend. But no, Barry and I never really hang out.” Cisco stated.

You know it!” Cisco grinned, wiggling his eyebrows at Felicity. “Well, maybe on second thought I should just stick to tech.”

“I always look at it this way, no matter how much ass they can kick they always call me when they have a problem or need help. So I’m the hero, to the heros.”
