“Related? And how do you know we are? How do I know you aren’t yanking my chain” he said looking up to Elena raising an eyebrow at the woman pursing his lips together feeling his heart pick up speed a bit at the nerves he felt he was overwhelmed to say the least “what do you have to prove all of what your saying?”
“You, because I know who you are. We’re related, you and I,” Elena explained watching his face closely. “It’s complicated, and I can explain it all to you if you’d like. I can also just pay for my drink and leave, if that’s what you want. I know it’s a lot.” Her eyes flicked between his face and his hands, watching as he worked.
“Oh oh I can do those Yea” he said happily as he got everything together not looking towards the other pursing his lips together as he focused before pausing when she spoke about wanting to talk to him Which had him perking up “me? Why me? And you know my name how?”
“Hmmm, let’s go with strawberry,” Elena said with a smile. “A strawberry daiquiri?” She rest her head on her hand as she watched the man sling drinks.
“I, um. I didn’t just come here for a drink. I came to talk to you, Anthony.” Elena said in a serious tone, hoping that the man would want to listen.
“Hm alright, you got a flavor in mind? I can just wing it” he offered giving a small smile as he got a few options for flavors out before looking to Elena curiously “alright miss which would ya like I can make Damn near anything as long as it’s not a new drink that came out in the last two years”
Elena had been working with Alaric and the Salvatore brothers to track down Anthony for years now. They finally got a lead, and Elena snuck out of the boarding house to follow it. She arrived at a bar, and it was nearly empty. She spotted her target and walked up to the bar, taking a seat away from other patrons.
“Yeah, um. You choose. Something fruity, please.”Anthony sighed as he was cleaning glasses at the bar pursing his lips together as he arranged things properly his eyes going to his phone that was set on a shelf waiting for his brothers to contact him. They had been on a hunt last he knew and he just wanted a call or text from them to make sure they were okay. Anthony heard someone clear their through and he turned around to see a young woman that looked oddly familiar which had his eyebrows furrowing.
“Oh sorry, can I help you?” Anthony asked tilting his head a bit “whiskey, bourbon, something fruity you name it I can make it”
“I just know, Anthony. My name is Elena Gilbert. You’re my little brother. By two minutes. You were kidnapped when we were little. I have our birth certificates at home.” Elena paused, realizing that was a lot of information. Her heart raced as she watched for a reaction from the man. “You’re my twin, Anthony.”
“Hero hair?” Tom laughed as he finished untangling the tubes and wires. “I mean, we’re all human. It’s nearly inevitable that we end in a hospital eventually. Even if it’s just for something simple like stitches.” He took a pause after his fingers brushed over the other’s arm. “I’ll keep you company, i mean, if you want? My friend will be alright. I was just going to surprise them. I can surprise them later, too.” He felt bad for the man, and something about him made him want to linger and spend time with him.
“Yea it’s kinda like yours but like more gravity defying “ he told the other giving a small smile sighing looking down to his arm feeling the others fingers on his arm looking down shyly clearing his throat which was unlike him clearing his throat “I um based on this nose thing and other stuff I think it’s more then just stitches although I don’t remember much of what happened…you’d be willing to stay with me for a bit? What happened to your friend? If that’s okay to ask”
“Ah,” Tom exclaimed, his eyes widening and his eyebrows lifting. He pulled up a chair and settled in next to the man. “Hero hair. That’s hilarious,” Tom paused and leaned his arms and chin on the railing of the bed. “Definitely more than stitches for you, my friend. That’s a nasal cannula, by the way. It’s ensuring you’re getting plenty of oxygen. Oh, and the tubes? That’s probably something to keep you hydrated and something else to keep the pain away.” He realized he was rambling on about medical jargon and he wasn’t even on the clock.
“Of course I’ll stay! And my friend is fine,” he motioned, waving his hand “He had his appendix removed. Nothing crazy. I’ll be back around the hospital tomorrow for work anyway, so I’ll visit in the morning before my shift.”
“Because it’s a very cute stranger,” Stefan trailed, giving the man a smile. There was a feeling of butterflies in his stomach. He hadn’t felt this feeling in a long time. Like, half a century long.
“I don’t mind one bit,” Stefan smiled, brushing the other’s arm. “I have plenty of hoodies and there’s a coffee shop not far, either.
“Oh…o-okay, my name is Miles Mikealson by the way” he greeted blushing giving the man a sweet smile holding out his hand to shake feeling his heart skip a beat once or twice at the smile. Miles had never really liked anyone but this man was different, he kind of liked the feeling of butterflies in his stomach looking to his arm curiously before looking up nodding matter if factly “okay then it’s settled..I’ll borrow a hoodie and we will get coffee”
Stefan took the man’s hand and shook it. “I’m Stefan, Stefan Salvatore.” His stomach flipped again, and he grinned at the feeling. “My apartment is this way,” he said, leading the way.
As they arrived, Stefan opened the door. “Come on in, make yourself comfortable. I’ll go change and grab you a hoodie,” he smiled, brushing the man’s arm again before disappearing into the bedroom.

Ray smiled from behind the stove. “I’m happily content with you stealing my clothes. Just be glad I don’t steal yours,” he laughed.
“I mean, it’d be nice, but it’s not necessary. It’s important they’re healthy and they’ll be loved no matter what.”
Ray spun around when he heard her voice. When his eyes found her, his jaw practically dropped. “You look…” Ray closed his mouth and licked his lip. “You look amazing. Stunning. Gorgeous.” He was at a loss for words.
She chuckled, happy about the result. “Glad you like it. Thea made this outfit, inspired on my Shuriken outfit. Only that one is blue.” Amelia smiled “Let’s go, handsome. I am sure you like to explore this outfit. Trying to find the surprise, what’s underneath.”
“Damn,” he breathed. “O- Okay,” Ray mumbled, allowing Amelia to lead him. Ray’s mind was racing, and he was totally okay with it.
